Thaddee Uwimana Bscn(Hons) RN candidate 2017 is a global community advocate and health change makers, he is a Young Professional for Chronic Diseases Network, a Human right and social justice protection. Thaddee is a Rwandan student nurse by professional since 2013 by his enrollment in University of Rwanda College of Medicine and Health sciences. He has been providing clinical care in public, communities and private sectors as well as held a number of projects management in Health system strengthening, and leading different Government and Non Government organization positions.

Personal and education background
Thaddee was born In Nyamasheke, Western Province, Rwanda. He has completed his ordinary level secondary studies at Muhanga, Southern Province in Groupe Saint Joseph Kabgayi where he has hold the Advanced Diploma in Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology with Best Grade.
Thaddee is completing her University studies in General nursing, where he will hold Bachelor with horns degree in nursing(A0) in summer 2017, (2013-2017).
Since Thaddee enrolled in university, he has tremendously contributed to immeasurable actions. In 2013, he founded the team of volunteers called Health Volunteers Initiave aimed to respond to global community’s health challenges and community protection. In 2017 he became co-founder of Nurses and Midwives Students Association of Rwanda aimed to help students to stand for dignity and genuine of nursing professionalism. In 2017 Thaddee has initiated actions to tackle infection diseases through One Health Central East Africa/ one health student clubs university of Rwanda, volunteer champion to prevent Non communicable diseases, under five year malnutrition, malaria, other health matters in Rwanda and at large. Thaddee BscRN Thesis is entitled “Assessing Factors affecting adult woman to attend cervical cancer screening services in one health center: case of Rwanda.”
Current Activities
Leading Position
Since 2013 has been a staff member in health volunteers’ initiative, he is currently working as executive officer of this organization @healthrw. He is treasurer in One Health Student Club University of Rwanda, Nyarugenge Campus. He is a steering committee nurse representative in World Health Student Symposium 2017 assembly will held in Rwanda in November 2017. He was representative organizer of nurses’ student Global Health Course held In Rwanda 2016.
2014-2016 Thaddee was a volunteer in Rwanda Nurses Students Organization his position was to coordinate online management and socio Media nurses’ students from twelve campuses in Rwanda through health talks and discussions about Globe challenges and acts for interventions.
